The end of the semester is upon us. As in, its here. now. Looking back, it was a pretty good semester. I feel like i learned a lot in this class. And all of my classes. All in all, I'd say it was a good semester. I have an improved knowledge of how to use Photoshop, and an even better knowledge of how to use Illustrator and InDesign. My pieces definitely fluctuated in degree of quality. The worst ones were probably the ones i spent the least amount of time on; or the ones i waited to the last minute to do. Because for some reason when it comes down to the last minute, it takes longer? and things get rushed. and things turn out like shit.
But again, I feel like most of my pieces were pretty strong. I really love my Julian Assange poster. and will probably have more printed later. :D As for now, this is farewell. Have a good Christmas everybody! I plan to continue using this blog for artwork and such, as well as my other blog thislemonadesucks.blogspot.com for other news/happenings/shit. Farewell, Happy Holidays and God Bless.

Final Project
For my final project, i wanted to do something large. something that would stand out. so i did this.
Originally, the document is 36" x 48", however i could only get it printed in 17" x 22" because i couldn't get it printed on the large format printer. Its still badass in my opinion.

Hot damn.
Theres about 2 weeks of school left. Shyyyt. I might die otherwise. Anyways.
For my personal brochure project in InDesign, i want to do 3 spreads that all go together as one, yet stand alone by themselves. Something like an advertisement or poster or something.
Maybe taking something that already stands, and reconfiguring it for what i want to do.
Like a contest poster?

Maybe This one? I dont know.

Adobe InDesign (part uno)
We were to take a magazine spread, and recreate it using InDesign CS5. We used placeholder text for the text. I feel like i matched it pretty damn well.
This --^ is the original, i did the left half. :D

And then we did this shit…and i died.
Just in case no one noticed, im on a Tron kick. I'm so god damned ready for the new Tron Legacy to come out. I watched the first Tron from 1982, which also happened to be produced by Disney.
In order of assignment: The exterior; the interior; and the LiveTrace.
**EDIT** JUST SO WERE CLEAR, THE INTERIOR SUCKS, AND WOULDNT CO-OPERATE…and i was lazy. and i havent slept.
